  • One Health (OH) is a multisectoral collaborative approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimize the health of humans, animals, plants, and the wider environment, which are closelyinterconnected.
  • In Zimbabwe and elsewhere in Africa, OH faces implementation challenges particularly related to lack of multisectoral coordination, institutionalization and inadequate funding.
  • This baseline study was conducted to describe the current governance, research, education and  opportunities for improving coordination of OH activities in Zimbabwe.
