WHO has developed courses and training materials which are aimed at strengthening knowledge and competencies of public health professionals by taking into consideration the human-animal-environment interface.
This is one of the 3 modules which purpose is to explain the One Health approach and principles of multisectoral collaboration, and to enable professionals from human, animal and environmental health sectors to contribute to a functional national health system, including national IHR implementation, evaluation, and capacity building through a One Health approach.
This training toolkit is intended to provide comprehensive materials that will allow for designing and organizing training workshops for all stakeholders in health laboratory processes, from management, to administration, to bench-work laboratorians.
Target Audience: Professionals from human, animal or environmental health sectors involved in the implementation of the IHR.
